Custom Builder and Special Guests Announcements
From master builders to motorsport icons, we’re bringing some serious star power to the 2025 High Seas Rally. Kory Souza returns as one of our custom builders to school us on his jaw-dropping customs, Dave & Jody Perewitz bring decades of motorcycle legacy, and Geoff Bodine is back to rev up the ship once again!

Custom Builder, Kory Souza Sets Sail Again!
Kory Souza Originals is a full-service custom motorcycle shop in Sarasota, Florida, specializing in ground-up builds and Harley-Davidson-based customs. From fabrication and paint to parts, installation, and service, KSO is a one-stop shop for riders who expect more from their machines.
Owner Kory Souza began his career sweeping floors at Perewitz Cycle Fab in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. He quickly rose through the ranks, eventually becoming the right-hand man to custom motorcycle legend Dave Perewitz. Kory was even inducted into the elite Hamsters USA at a young age—an honor reserved for top builders like Perewitz, Arlen Ness, and Donnie Smith.
After nearly a decade of hands-on experience, Kory headed south and launched Kory Souza Originals in 2013. Since then, he and his team have built a name for excellence, creativity, and detail. Kory’s eye for design is so trusted, most customers give him full creative control—and they’re never disappointed.
But these bikes aren’t built to sit still. Whether it’s a big-wheel bagger or one of Kory’s signature “dirtytails,” KSO bikes are not trailer queens. They’re built to ride—often cross-country—and Kory and his crew are always on the road hitting rallies and charity events around the U.S.
Kory’s builds have earned awards and magazine covers worldwide, but for him, the real reward is the community he’s built around KSO. Follow Kory Souza Originals on Facebook and Instagram to see what the crew’s working on—and where they’re headed next.

Two Legends. One Ship. Endless Stories.
We’re thrilled to announce that the legendary father/daughter duo Dave and Jody Perewitz will be joining us once again on the 2025 sailing!
As the driving force behind the iconic Perewitz brand, Dave and Jody have helped shape the custom motorcycle industry. What began in 1971 as Cycle Fab—built in a 4′ x 10′ shed in Dave’s backyard—has grown into a globally recognized name, known for creating some of the most in-demand custom motorcycles in the world. Today, Perewitz Cycle Fabrications is a full-service operation featuring a retail shop, custom build facility, down draft paint booth, repair services, and a showroom showcasing nearly 30 custom bikes.
After first cruising with us in 2022, Dave and Jody wowed guests with their hands-on clinics, behind-the-builder sessions, and a wealth of motorcycle knowledge. In 2025, they’re back to share their passion through a new round of engaging events onboard.

Start Your Engines—Geoff Bodine Is Back!
Geoff Bodine is a retired motorsport legend, innovative engineer, and proud supporter of the High Seas Rally Dialysis Fund. Set to sail with us for his 12th year in 2024, Geoff is best known for his standout NASCAR career. He earned Rookie of the Year honors in 1982, grabbed his first pole that same season, and celebrated his first Cup Series win two years later. His biggest victory came at the 1986 Daytona 500, followed by career highlights like the 1987 International Race of Champions title, the 1992 Busch Clash, and the 1994 Winston Select. A true innovator, Geoff helped revolutionize the sport by introducing power steering and full-faced helmets to NASCAR.
Geoff’s ingenuity extended beyond racing when he co-founded the Bo-Dyn Bobsled Company, inspired by the U.S. Bobsled Team’s struggles during the 1992 Winter Olympics. By applying racecar technology, Bo-Dyn sleds helped the U.S. team win three medals in the 2002 Olympics and gold in 2010, the first since 1948. In 2021, Geoff was inducted into the USA Bobsled/Skeleton Hall of Fame. Whether on the track, in the shop, or onboard the High Seas Rally, Geoff continues to inspire with his passion, creativity, and commitment to giving back.
